Bryerly Long is an Actress, director and writer with a global perspective.

The child of humanitarian aid workers, Long grew up in Vietnam, Bosnia, France, England and Switzerland, before graduating from the University of Oxford with Top Honors in Japanese Studies.

Long began her career as an actress in Tokyo, where she joined the contemporary Japanese theater company Seinendan and toured internationally. During her 7 years in Japan, she starred in commercials, TV, theater and in several films by the Cannes-awarded director Koji FUKADA, including “Sayonara” where Long became the first actor to star opposite a real android robot.

Long made her film directing debut with “Tokyo Dreamers, a little violence”, which premiered at New Filmmakers Los Angeles in 2020. During the Pandemic, she received a full scholarship to UCLA’s Screenwriting and Producing Professional Programs . In December 2022, she completed her Masters in Directing at ESCAC in Barcelona, where she directed 3 short films: "L'envie," "Homologies," and "Hi!".

She is Fluent in French, German, Japanese, English and Spanish.
